@MattVella_RS@mattvella4 Looking forward to your visit Matt. You have been with him from the start. We owe you a lot my friend for the early neutering and schooling of this wonderful colt. We hope he wins as a tribute to the best horseman in NSW. Safe travel Striker can’t wait to reunite with his oldmate
Lofty Strike is ready to GO LTG policy has always been in the welfare interest of our horses at all times For the record Striker was found lame in his first week of coming back from his spell NOT before. Any suggestion that it’s related to his scratching is totally inaccurate.
It’s sad that one RV vet can determine the future of our horse within 3 min as opposed to the team at Sandhu Racing who know the horse since purchased at the Magic Millions almost 12 months ago. Surely there must be something wrong with this RV procedure.
@eather06 No Kyle that’s the problem. Thrr we y should at the very least look at the no@insted horses at least 6 weeks before a Group race to form a profile. You can’t make the judgement they made in 1-2 days prior. Are they joking.
To the many followers of Lofty Strike. I want to thank everyone for their best wishes on this sad occasion that our boy was scratched by the RV vet. Just to put it out there based on both our vets and Julius Sandhu the horse is not lame and was safe to run in the Diamond.
@gold_dove44 I know of situations when one or two owners are more than 160 days behind and the other owners don’t know. It’s a delicate matter for the trainer to discuss this issue with other owners so he continues in the RED. These unpaid owners still front up to the races gambling. ?? :(
@gold_dove44 In other jurisdictions if owners don’t pay their bills their horses don’t get a run. Maybe it’s time Racing Australia did something about it.
@gold_dove44 Yes. That’s what makes it a great concept. Most of the time the other owners don’t know that one of them is not paid up. So it becomes very embarrassing for that person that his letting the team down when everyone else has paid and their horse can’t run.
Latest report on our filly VINNI ROSE is that she has pulled up well and is a mystery on why she suddenly stopped in her run as she loomed up to win on the turn at Geelong. Was vetted and found to be sound. Julius will try some new gear in her next gallop to see what suits.
