A LONG Reddit Post by a LEGO Fortnite Developer with a TON of updates for us! 🎉
- Inventory is a priority for them. They see that it ties to unrewarding exploration and lack of systems depth. They're working to fix this.
- Performance is being worked on by an entire dedicated team to that area.
- Exploration is getting some big changes. They're doing more frequent updates to add new/interesting things. They're working on the fundamentals like Village Progression and mentioned to "LOOK AT MAY"
- Systems, using an example with the Food/Potion changes, clash with other changes they've done which is rough for newer players. They want to go deeper and add to these systems.
- Features & Creativity will start releasing NEW toys, buildings & devices! They want to add to existing biomes to be more interesting, and even add to Caves due to them being blad.
- Narrative/IP/Theme Convo's will have a clearer sense of story & purpose, Stronger uses of the LEGO IP & Themed identities and an emergent storytelling & player-driven narratives.
These are INCREDIBLE updates to us as players.
@LEGOMoonNite Too easy to get loot, should be spread more across the world, that way we have incentives to go to other parts on the map. Enemies outside of Ninjago are too easy and there should be even harder difficulty settings for those who want a real challenge. Still very fun though‼️🥷🤗
The LEGO Games team is going LIVE playing the new content in LEGO Fortnite Odyssey 👀
Think they can take the heat… or are we about to witness a full-on meltdown? 🔥
