Taven Phanthavong, a latecomer to baseball, earned his spot on the varsity roster as a Junior.
@tavenp12 became the team’s go to pinch runner in the 2019 season & would have been a weapon on the base paths this season with the new federation rules.
Logan Paranto, BHS’ starting SS, made his varsity debut as Freshman. LP is a natural born leader both on the field & in the locker room.
@logan_lp10 lead the team in nearly every offensive category in 2019, earned the team’s MVP award & was as named a SWCL 1st-Team AllStar.
Casper Sykes, the team’s longest tenured member, started his first varsity game as a 7th grader! Since then, Cap has started 73 consecutive games at 5 different positions (2B, P, C, LF, SS).
Casper will be the last ever Bartlett baseball player to earn 6 Varsity Letters.
Nate Blythe, the team’s starting CF, battled his way to the top of the batting order in 2019 & solidified himself as the team’s leadoff hitter for their playoff push. Nate finished his Junior season tied for the team lead in hits & was named a SWCL 2nd-Team AllStar. @NateBlythe2
Sean Stockhaus, a varsity starter since his sophomore year, persevered through injuries to play 5 different positions & anchor the 2019 lineup as the cleanup hitter.
This nearly silent kid around his coaches, is hailed as team’s funniest kid by his teammates.
