I wanna just say this. I'm not upset about the Knicks winning a championship.
I'm upset that the Nets, in their entire NBA history, have found new and improved ways for things to go wrong:
- Nets forced to trade Dr. J to join the NBA
- The Dražen Petrović tragedy (1993)
- The Coleman-Anderson era fell apart
- Back-to-back NBA Finals losses (2002, 2003)
- 2009–10 they finished 12–70, the worst record in franchise history
- The infamous Celtics trade (2013) that gifted the Celtics Tatum, Brown and a Championship
- Miserable failure with KD/Kyrie/Harden
- The "shoe size" moment (2021)
- Helped the Knicks soon-to-be Championship
- Go from #6 to #8 pick in '25
- Go from potential #1 to #6 this year
I don't know another franchise/fanbase that has had it worse than us.
Just needed to vent for a moment

@Buccigross Svechnikov hasn’t done a whole lot since scoring the OT winner in game 3 last series….
…ya know, the same one you never picked the Bucci OT winners for
@Buccigross Would be even more phenomenal if we weren’t still waiting on Bucci OT Svechnikov winners from game 3 in the prior series. Gotta keep the integrity of the challenge.
I can’t help but think how on this day & the days after until today, he was likely deciding if waking up on those days was worth it.
Check in on your loved ones, sometimes those who appear to be doing great are just deciding whether waking up was worth it
