My one thought on the election

I don’t think Harris lost because of her. Trump wins because the Democratic elite have lost sight of how to speak to people who aren’t like them

They too often treat non-College educated citizens as beneath them and not worthy of respect. They show disdain and contempt for average Americans…and not just white ones. They too often give off a “we know what’s good for you vibe” that is off-putting

Throw in a contempt for their social views and a desire to scold, rather than convince and it just turns people off. No one wants to be lectured and condescended to

I think Trump sucks. But he has always told these people they matter. And if one person does and the other calls them names, you lose.

You can’t get people to vote for you unless you speak to them in their language and understand their concerns. People will disagree with you and listen to you, but you have to show them respect and worth
