It’s such a lie that we don’t spend enough on education, one that far too many people buy. We are among the top per-pupil spenders in the world on K-12. The problem with education is the system itself, not the endless amounts of cash we pour into it. Average annual per-pupil in the US is now close to $20k. What could you do with $20k for your child? Probably a lot better than what districts choose to do, which is pay more bureaucrats.

There is no hate speech exception to the First Amendment. Nevertheless, the attorney general says "there's free speech, and then there's hate speech," and the government will "target you, go after you, if you are targeting anyone with hate speech."

The attorney general would be wise to read the words of the Supreme Court, which has repeatedly held that the "proudest boast" of America's free speech tradition is "freedom for the thought that we hate."
