There is a cabal within the 2024 Trump supporting camp which i think is dangerous. Those are the "America first" literalists.
When I think"America first", I think that the guiding principle for policy, foreign relations, and decision making is whats good for America in both short and long terms. In my mind, it means America's interests take priority, and no agreements should be made that dont benefit us.
Now, I understand thats a very subjective thing, but thats why world view matters. Thats why I have always supported Trump. For the most part, his world view aligns with mine.
Thats a far cry from the literalist camp. I think they have confused "America first" with "America Only". I think they are isolationists. I think they naively think that withdrawing our influence, and projection of power globally,is the right path. I couldn't disagree more. That creates dangerous power vacuums that puts America at risk.
The world's largest economic and military power has an obligation to lead. Like it or not, we DO set the rules, because of our power. Think of it like a football team. Without strong leadership, and clear objectives, and high standards of a good coach....the team has no direction and appears chaotic.
The United States is that coach. When we elect a President, we throw around terms lighteheartedly like "leader of the Free World". But thats nothing to take lightly. That means our principles, our morality, our values are the guiding principles.
Weakness, and passivity, is not leadership. Isolationism does not create a better, safer world for us or anybody else. An economically strong America affects everybody else. It is the tide that lifts all boats. A militarily strong, and effective America ensures security for everybody else. That rising tide lifts all boats.
Tying that into current events, thats why I never got fully on board with the "no new wars" messaging and never took it completely literally. Being war averse does not equate to an unwillingness to engage. You must be willing g to fight when necessary. You must accept that conflict isnt always your choice.
In Iran, weve spent nearly 50 years attempting "diplomacy", and "negotiations". Those efforts only delayed the inevitable, and kicked the can down the road, by leaders too scared to take principled, moral stands. In the end, it enabled a slow progression to a dangerously influential and potentially nuclear powered terrorist regime.
What this administration finally acknowledged, despite political risks,is that negotiation and diplomacy wasn't effectively addressing the problem Iran posed to global stability and security.
"America First" is not an isolationist policy. It is a Global Security and Stability policy. Its a policy that embraces our power and influence as the predominant determining factor of world peace and welfare.
We are the tide that determines how high all ships rise. Thats the reality of our global influence. If we dont embrace that responsibility, we put both ourselves and the rest of the world at risk.
But its easy to predict those things by simply looking at the demographics. All of those are found in shockingly higher numbers within the black community. So yes, you can look at black neighborhoods and logically determine thats a much higher risk area. This isnt complicated, and it's not racist....its reality.
I think its an incredible thing that the world has its first Trillionaire, and im glad we live in a country where thats possible through honest means.
Democrats want to destroy that.
@UltraDane "N I double-guh er" describes behavior, attitude, and cultural rot in individuals abd certain sub cultures more than it describes skin color in 2026.
The pendulum is swinging. The fatigue has gone mainstream. Somebody once said he dreamed of them being judged by the content of their character. They are. Theyre also being judged by their behavior.
Now the divide will grow, because the rest of civilized society generally demands people be held accountable for their behavior, and has little tolerance for this kind of scar on their communities.
This time I think weve finally crossed the Rubicon. The standard name calling and intimidation tactics wont work. Civil, peaceful people will finally push back.
As they should. Enough is enough.
As someone born and raised in the N Dallas/Plano/Frisco area, and still living North of Frisco, im very familiar with it. Plano/Frisco/N Dallas, hell most of Collin County, is solidly middle class with more upper middle to wealthy than most counties. This jigaboo isnt "gangster", not if hes from that area. He may be pretending, he may THINK he is, but nah.
I cant stand this behavior. Its just an intimidation tactic. The problem with those untamed wild animals is you absolutely cannot resist it without extreme and rapid escalation. This guy responded well. Anything else would have resulted in violence, and violence with the "N i double-guh errrrr" crowd is always a lethal threat. They dont know anything else.
They are exhibit A on why national reciprocity for concealed carry is necessary.
Ill double down. This was my Walmart pickup order from the 7th. I buy food weekly. This is a full week's worth of groceries for me. 3 meals a day. And yes, my fridge wasnt empty empty. I still had a few things, but thats normal. So this is an example of 1 week groceries, for me, 3 meals per day. Included in this are expensive items like shrimp and salmon. Buy whole foods, figure how many servings your buying. Pay attention. This bill might have been 140 or 150 had my fridge and pantry really been empty. I get at LEAST 21 meals for this. More realistically closer to 30.
That "half filled cart" is multiple meals. Figure out the cost per meal and tell me shopping isnt affordable. I eat for about 5 or 6 bucks a meal when I cook my own food. Today im eating blackened salmon with veggies and fruit for lunch. Breakfast wad two shrimp & egg breakfast tacos. Haven't decided on dinner, but ill have 3 meals for about 15 or 16 bucks today.
@TreMorgan1996@BlankGangOG@knostalgic@Uncommonsince76 Funny, a member of the lowest IQ group starting an IQ war with one of the highest IQ groups. Just stop man. Look inward for both your problems and solutions continuing to be angry with, and attack, white people isnt going to make things better. It only reinforces the divide.
See, YOUR problem, not mine,is you are stuck centuries in the past. Youve failed to take responsibility for your own culture and choose to blame people like me, in 2026, for things that happened centuries before we existed. Fine, your culture had a tough road, thats not exclusive to you though historically. What DOES seem to be exclusive to your culture is your inability to accept history for what it is,then take responsibility for yourselves moving forward. Instead, you choose anger and violence towards people who never wronged you, for wrongs that never happened to you.
White people dont give a shit about you, we are indifferent. UNTIL, that is, you start terrorizing our communities, burning our cities, attacking our law enforcement, and brutally murdering people for nothing else than the color of their skin.
Its YOUR culture that has a behavior problem, not ours. Dont commit crimes at an astonishingly disproportionate rate, and you wont go to jail.
Simple fix.
Cant argue with that. Our bad. It doesnt excuse your violent, third world behavior though. Sure, had we not brought so many over here, things MIGHT be different today. But youre coming up on 200 years since we, white people, abolished slavery and your behavior still proves why you need masters. As a culture, as a group, you dont know how to behave in civilized society. Not every single individual one of you, but there are defining characteristics of yoyr group as a whole....and theyre not conducive to peaceful coexistence.
