@speakfreetruth @naomirwolf Because It’s a non story. LA freeways can handle hundreds of thousands of people a day. Same with hotels, air bnbs, friends houses. The fires don’t wipe across the whole state like a hurricane. Not comparable

@mlfrostmi @naomirwolf There literally are enough hotels & rentals in the area. The AQI today was 50 in North Hollywood which is a normal day for LA.

LA is *huge* and 180,000 people doesn’t strain our infrastructure, especially not when the evacuation is happening gradually. Over 380,000 people drive on the 405 daily on a normal day. Evacuees are taking lots of different freeways in different directions and landing with friends and family outside of the evacuation zones.
