The Isles cap off an unbelievable season after winning the national championships, they would go undefeated in the NBSBL Playoffs going 8-0.
Ethan Smith threw an absolute gem holding the Ironmen to just one hit while striking out eight.
FINALS BOUND!
The Islanders got more dominant pitching this evening as starter Ben MacDougall would throw a complete game, three hitter while striking out seven.
NATIONAL CHAMPIONS!
Elite pitching and great offence was the story of the week and that was no different tonight.
Jordan Stevenson held the Quebec bats to just three hits while the Isles racked up nine themselves.

ISLES WIN!
The Isles got off to a hot start as pick up Max Grant would hit a two run home run in the top of the first and the offence never looked back from there.
We’re back tomorrow for two games against tough opponents in Quebec and British Columbia.

Tonight is a special one as we’ll host the Moncton Metropolitans in The City of Summerside.
Hometown boy Ben MacDougall will get the start on the mound for the Isles in his return to Legends Field.
Game time is 7:30pm.

Riding off a high from last nights thriller, we’ll try to close it out tonight at Kiwanis Park where we’ve had success all series long.

After being down 9-0 in the 5th inning, the Isles would plate 3 runs in the bottom half of the inning to make it 9-3.
In the bottom of the 7th with the Islanders down to their last outs, they’d rattle off six hits to come back and tie the game 9-9.

Game 3 goes tonight as we look to grab our first series lead right here at home. We’ll look to keep the momentum going after a huge Game 2 victory in extra innings on Thursday night.
First pitch goes at 7pm.

It took extra innings but the Isles dug deep and came out with the victory!
Jordan Stevenson went 6+ innings striking out 9, before giving way to Ben MacDougall who came in to shut the door and eventually get the win.
We’ll see you Saturday night for Game 3!
WERE HEADED BACK TO THE FINALS!
The Isles broke the game open in the 6th inning on a 2 out rally which saw the home squad plate 5 runs in the inning en route to a 10-5 lead.
We’ll now await the winner of Moncton/Chatham to see who we’ll meet in the final series.
