A proposed pledge for Elon Musk.
An opportunity to put your money where your mouth is. If money won’t matter in 2036, why don’t you pledge to donate your current wealth of approximately $1 trillion to charity no later than 2036. This would establish with great credibility your belief in the powers of AI and technology. It would also assuage many people around the world who are worried about the political and social influence of billionaires and trillionaires.
PS. The charities chosen for this should be approved as effective and non-ideological by an impartial body.

one thing you just never could have expected was fifa, creator of the fifa peace prize, and donald trump, the only recipient of the fifa peace prize, engaging in transparent corruption
Trump: I was actually talking about a totally different 10-point plan that's really good for us and bad for them, not the one that the entire world is talking about showing us giving up
Everyone: May we see it?
Trump: No
Based on Trump’s latest post, here’s the victory some Americans died for and the rest of us will pay for with debt & inflation: the regime stays in power, grows even more hard-line, Iranians hate America even more, and oil prices stay permanently higher. Other than that, we win.
If you check the replies to this tweet, you’ll see Trump supporters expressing bewilderment, and what people should ask them is: why are you surprised that a movement led by a conspiracy theorist ends up here? You can draw a line from this to the Springfield pet-eating hoax to the stolen election nonsense. That’s why it will never stop: the movement is led by a conspiracy theorist who not only mainstreamed conspiracy theories into politics but also showed people how to turn them into an industry. Every time Trump complains about fake news and fake polls and stolen elections, it signals to others that you can just lie, you can just make things up, you can just weave untruths—and if you do it with enough gusto, you will be made into a right-wing celebrity, even be invited to the State of the Union like Nick Shirley. JD Vance will recommend you for a Pulitzer.
That is also how and why people like Russell Brand and Andrew Tate end up on that side, why people like Tucker Carlson and Megyn Kelly are so at home there. And that is also why there is no fixing the new right. This is a train with no brakes built in by design.
Setting aside D'Souza's point at the end, this reminds me of how FBI agents infiltrate the Klan/neo-Nazi groups and immediately rise through the ranks to become the leaders because they're the only remotely smart people in the room
FCC Chairman Brendan Carr has called on TV broadcasters to air “nonpartisan,” pro-American programming to mark the United States’ 250th anniversary. His suggestions include:
• Starting each broadcast day with the “Star-Spangled Banner” or the Pledge of Allegiance.
• Running segments that promote civic education, inspiring local stories and American history.
• Highlighting local sites significant to American and regional history, including National Park Service landmarks.
• Airing music by some of America’s most celebrated composers, such as John Philip Sousa, Aaron Copland, Duke Ellington and George Gershwin.
• Providing daily “Today in American History” announcements spotlighting notable events tied to each date.
• Partnering with community organizations already working to elevate stories of American unity, perseverance and triumph.

🚨 MAJOR BREAKING: The Supreme Court has ruled that Trump does NOT have the authority under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) to impose tariffs — delivering a major blow to Trump’s sweeping “emergency” tariff regime.
This is the interview Donald Trump didn’t want you to see.
His FCC refused to air my interview with Stephen Colbert.
Trump is worried we’re about to flip Texas.
