Al-Mustawrid al-Qurashi said in the presence of Amr ibn al-As, may Allah be pleased with them:

“I heard Prophet Muhammad peace and blessings be upon him, say:

‘The Last Hour will come when the Romans are the majority of people.’

Upon hearing this, Amr ibn al-As said that they possess notable qualities:

• they are forbearing during times of turmoil.
• quick to recover after calamity.
• swift to rally after retreat.
• good to the poor, the orphan, and the weak.
• strong in resisting the oppression of kings.

الفكرة جميلة 🏳️🤝

لكنها غير دقيقة

أتفق في أن الذكاء الاصطناعي قد لا يملك حكم الإنسان وخبرته وسياقه واختيار السؤال الصحيح

لكنه قوي جدًا في رؤية كمية ضخمة من الأنماط والاحتمالات، وقد يكتشف علاقة بين جزيء وقانون رياضي أو بنية هندسية ومرض معين لم ينتبه لها البشر من قبل

بل أقوى ما يميّزه أصلاً أنه يستطيع ربط أنماط من مجالات مختلفة: أحياء، كيمياء، رياضيات، فيزياء، هندسة، وإحصاء. وهذا الربط قد يكون أوسع مما يستطيع عقل إنسان واحد أن يستوعبه أو يجمعه

مثال AlphaFold من قوقل يوضح هذا الشيء بشكل ممتاز

مشكلة البروتينات كانت من أعقد مشكلات الأحياء: سلسلة من الأحماض الأمينية، لكن وظيفة البروتين تعتمد على شكله ثلاثي الأبعاد بعد أن ينطوي. السؤال كان:

كيف نعرف الشكل النهائي للبروتين من مجرد تسلسله؟

وش سوى نموذج ألفا فولد

ربط بين عدة أشياء في وقت واحد: تسلسل البروتين، والتشابهات بين الكائنات، والمسافات المتوقعة بين الأحماض الأمينية، والهندسة الفراغية للشكل النهائي
والتنافر والتقارب الكيميائي بين المركبات والعناصر

هنا تم ربط الأحياء والكيمياء بالإحصاء والهندسة والفيزياء الحاسوبية.

وش صار بعدها ؛ وجد أن بعض الأحماض الأمينية تتغير حسب المكان وافترض أن بينها علاقة مكانية أو وظيفية داخل البروتين ، بعدها التقط هذه الإشارات وحولها إلى توقع لشكل البروتين في الفراغ وكانت النتيجة دقيقة ومشابهة للواقع بنسبة مرعبة ..

هذا بالضبط عكس القول بأن الذكاء الاصطناعي ضعيف في الربط بين مسارات معرفية مختلفة. بل أن نجاحه قائم أصلا على هذا الربط بين مجالات متعددة
