In a horrific incident from Uttar Pradesh, a young Hindu Dalit boy was gang-raped by multiple Muslim men on the day of Eid. The minor was allegedly lured into the trap under the pretext of a festive feast or celebration linked to the festival in a village, only to be brutally assaulted by the group.

Three named accused Gul Mohammad, Avesh, and Adnan (Muslim names) lured him under the pretext of an Eid/Bakri Eid feast/celebration. A fourth is reportedly absconding.

Locals are furious over the sheer brutality, pointing to the repeated vulnerability of Dalit communities in areas plagued by caste and communal tensions.

This video shows an incident that happened one day back in Mugdapara, 🇧🇩 , where two women from the Bede (or Bedia) community were publicly humiliated and assaulted by Jamaat leader Ali Hasan.
The helpless faces of the two women are heartbreaking to watch. They had entered the village to show saap khela (snake games) to the villagers.

Bedia or Bede are a historically nomadic, river-dwelling ethnic group in Bengal, known as the River Gypsies Traditionally they make their living as snake charmers, herbal healers, and entertainers.
