I am excited to announce that I will be continuing my academic and athletic career at Ball State University!!! I couldn’t have done it without God, Family, Coach’s, and everyone who has supported me in my career!!! #ChirpChirp@BallStateMBB
Tonight I watched one of my biggest fears as an Athletic Trainer play out on tv. Trying to explain this isn’t a “getting his bell rung” situation. This is one of those EAPs you hope you never have to use but are thankful you have.. #PrayersforDamarHamlin
We don’t need to comment on the event further.
All I’ll add is that this is why you have expertly trained Athletic Trainers, Physicians, and EMTs on the field every game.
Aside from a hospital this athlete was in no better place to be assisted.

You want to know why so many ATs get backlash for holding a kid out?
Because on the biggest stages, w/ the public watching, kids are allowed to RTP after something like this happens.
So when a parent says “he just has a little headache, he’s fine”
This is where it starts.
This is Dallas Stoller.
Remember her name.
Fight for her.
Fight for Chloe Bess, who wants other survivors to know that their voices matter.
Fight for all the girls who are too scared to speak up.
They deserve it 🤍
Don’t want to talk about the wage gap? We can talk about the perception gap.
Dad AT/Coach brings kid(s) to work: “Aw, he brought them to see a day in the life. He’s spending time with them.”
Mom AT/Coach does the same: “Her work is going to suffer. Distracted much? Poor kids.”
Men in or around sports, from coaches, to players, fans or otherwise…pay attention:
LEAVE WOMEN IN SPORTS ALONE.
Your douchebaggery is unsolicited & unwanted; and it’s beyond unnecessary & far past unprofessional.
Sincerely,
A male AT who works with some great female ATs
