Agile today: Learn a process in order to achieve success
Agile as I learned it: Create a process from what we learn about how to succeed.
Effective delivery isn't about following a process, it's about solving for what's needed for THESE people in THIS context as both change.
Farewell Twitter. It's been something to see/be part of, but I'm not sorry to leave this service behind. I actually like the idea of the smaller, more managed federated model anyway. I might even get into why at @[email protected] Thanks everyone.
Merry Christmas @nflnetwork style: cut to commercial instead of showing the Franco Harris commemoration highlight reel, the LITERAL REASON the game is on tonight. Gotta get those commercial $$$ tho! utter fail.
@gfredericks_ Winnie the Pooh has the North Pole. He used it to rescue piglet & now mostly uses it for limbo practice. The South Pole is a prop in those bad Jäegermeister commercials! The east pole is where electrons collect & the west pole is what Dorothy really used to defeat the witch! 😉
@gfredericks_ Oh, I think I know this one! If there’s a tree and the sun—while clinging to it, kept moving such that as the earth went round the tree, the sun stayed on the opposite side of the trunk, then I believe the squirrel would go round all three of them. Right?
Not sure who needs to hear this, but if being “outcome focused” means your org is focused on how to ensure people are using your preferred product management tools, instead of, say realizing the value of the items being tracked, you might want to rethink that.
Ok so I enjoy this joke a lot too, but the actual history behind this is a bit more complicated and honestly illuminating in its wackiness.
Let's talk about Roman calendars!
So why do the 'number months' (Sept-Dec) not correspond to their numbers (7-10)? 1/
@kimlehtinen@kelseyhightower Similar for me, but in practice "all" turns into "all that make testing hard"--which isn't always everything, but incrementally trends toward the same spot.
