How can it get any worse than allowing someone to graduate after they killed another kid on school property?

WELL IT DOES.

After giving Karmelo his diploma the Frisco ISD tried to deny giving Austin Metcalf a posthumous diploma.

Austin’s parents didn’t ask for anything extravagant all they wanted was for Austin’s twin brother Hunter to be able to accept Austin’s diploma on his behalf.

And Frisco ISD went out of their way to try and stop that from happening all while allowing a murderer to graduate and get his diploma with no problems.

I’ve followed this story very closely but didn’t know this detail until watching this interview.

Biggest takeaways from the Karmelo Anthony murder trial today:

• The state rested its case after calling 21 witnesses.

• At the center of the prosecution’s case are the students who were under the team tent and witnessed the confrontation unfold. One witness testified that Metcalf asked Anthony to leave the tent about 15 times before the stabbing.

• An 18-year-old witness who knew both Anthony and Metcalf, and said he “dabbed” Anthony under the tent, took the stand. He testified that he thought it was weird Anthony was there because “teams are supposed to be at their own tent.” He said Anthony responded, “You’re not going to move me. You’re a b*tch,” and “Touch me and find out.”

• The witness described Metcalf giving Anthony a “soft shove.” He testified that Anthony then reached into his backpack, pulled out the 5-inch folding knife, and stabbed Metcalf in the chest.

• Several students were asked whether they believed the stabbing was self-defense and answered no. Many testified they did not expect violence because it was a high school track meet

Since I’m going to be hearing this for the next 6 months as a Texas voter, let me answer the question:

“You would vote for an adulterer over James Talarico? That’s not very Christian.”

Here’s the truth: I would rather vote for almost anyone else who is going to at least advocate for conservative *policies* over a literal heretic who wears my faith like a skin suit, advocates for policies that harm children, endorses immorality and generally harm society.

Ken Paxton has personal baggage. I don’t deny that. But Talarico has plenty too — and he openly mocks God’s law and treats Jesus as a political mascot all while pushing a radical far-left agenda that would be a disaster for my state.

You see, I’m an adult. I do not expect those who are seeking political office to be my moral superiors or even trustworthy. They are tools to be used to do the least amount of damage via policy.

I wish more pastors and men who live godly lives were running. I really do. But the options we get are what they are.

Paxton supports secure borders, law enforcement, lower taxes, unleashing American energy, the Second Amendment, just to name a few.

Talarico supports unlimited abortion, trans-ing children, higher taxes, government-run “healthcare,” and is incredibly comfortable blaspheming the word of God.

I’m not voting for a priest. I’m voting for an imperfect person to represent my interests. That’s how it works.

You’re not going to guilt trip Texans into supporting a looney tunes candidate like Talarico. Paxton will win by 5+.

It’s about policy, not personality.

That’s all the time we have left.

If we lose 2026, we are likely to lose 2028.

Our Republican Senate majority hasn’t passed any meaningful legislation, which means many of President Trump’s policies aren’t codified into law.

If a democrat president wins 2028, then these 4 years won’t mean anything.

The next Department of Homeland Security Secretary will reopen the border — just like Alejandro Mayorkas did.

Then, when democrats regain control of the Senate, they will nuke the filibuster

& pass legislation to implement automatic mail-in ballots in all 50 states. Ballot harvesting will be the law of the land.

They will stack the Supreme Court, add 2 new democrat Senators with the creation of DC as a state, & establish a permanent democrat majority.

We have the power to stop this, but the question is whether or not @LeaderJohnThune wants to be remembered as a hero or a villain.

I can’t believe how lax the security was at the White House correspondents dinner tonight. Upon entering nobody asked to visibly INSPECT my ticket nor asked for my photo identification. All one had to do was flash what appeared to be a ticket and they were fine with that. When you consider you are entering a roomful of fake news media —90% of whom hate the President you would think they would have better security. This is what happened when what sounded like gunfire erupted.
On the way out, I called-out a bunch of the disgusting Media who have been pushing hatred toward President Trump for years. They are a big part of the discord in this country.

Hello Senator Thune,

At 3 AM on Friday, March 27th, in a near-empty chamber, you passed a bill by voice vote that excludes all funding for ICE and CBP.

Let me repeat that: voice vote. No roll call. No record of who was there. No accountability. Just you, Barrasso, and a handful of senators shuffling paper in the dead of night while America slept.

You could have demanded a recorded vote. You chose not to.

You could have held the line for five more days until the House returned. You chose not to.

You could have used the same procedural tools Democrats have used against you for 40 days. You chose not to.

Instead, you gave Chuck Schumer exactly what he asked for, DHS funding minus immigration enforcement, and called it a win. Then you walked to the cameras and blamed the Democrats.

Let's be precise about what you did:

1. You caved to a demand Democrats made on Day 1 of this shutdown. Forty-one days of supposed hardball negotiation, and you settled for their opening offer.
2. You handed them a template. The next time Democrats want to defund any agency — ICE, CBP, or anything else — they now know: just shut down DHS and wait. John Thune will fold at 3 AM.
3. You punted to reconciliation. "Good possibility," you said. Not "we will." Not "guaranteed." Just maybe. Meanwhile, ICE operates on fumes from last year's bill with no certainty of future funding.

The precedent you set:

You have argued for months that the filibuster is sacrosanct. That the 60-vote threshold protects minority rights. That we cannot bend Senate rules for policy wins.

But at 3 AM on Friday, you bent every norm that actually mattered:

• Voice vote to avoid accountability
• Empty chamber to avoid debate
• Midnight deal to avoid scrutiny
• Immediate recess to avoid questions

You'll bend the rules to avoid a fight. You just won't bend them to win one.

What you've actually accomplished:

Democrats demanded ICE restrictions. They got ICE defunded.

Not reformed. Not restrained. Defunded.

And you're out here tweeting about how Democrats are the "Defund the Police" party while you just voted to defund border enforcement at 3 in the morning.
The question you should answer:

Why did this deal have to happen at 3 AM?

Why couldn't it happen at 3 PM, with cameras rolling and every senator on record?

You know why. Because you didn't want your voters to see what surrender looks like.

Here's my message: We saw it anyway.

Stop hiding behind "Democrat obstruction." You're the Majority Leader. You set the schedule. You control the floor. You chose this outcome.

A digital clock in the Early Voting Ballot Board room exposed 2+ HOURS of missing surveillance video on 2/20/26.

What did EA Bridgette Escobedo do? She unplugged the clock. 🧵

1/ Dr. Laura Pressley was monitoring the legally required surveillance feed (Tex. Elec. Code §127.1232(b)) and noticed the clock on the EVBB table jumped from 5:18pm→6:24pm, then again from 6:47pm→7:47pm.
Over 2 hours of video — gone.

2/ AFTER those 2+ hours of missing footage, Escobedo personally delivered 4 early voting ballot boxes to the vault — alone. No Republican designee. No watchers. No chain of custody.
Then at 8:28pm she unplugged the clock.

3/ The clock stayed off for nearly 5 DAYS — eliminating the only independent timestamp that could expose future video gaps.

4/ TODAY at noon, the Republican Presiding Judge plugged the clock back in.
At 4:53pm, Escobedo marched into the EVBB room, shook the clock at the judge, and physically REMOVED it from the room.

It's all on video. The ballot board members laughed at her after she left.

5/ Why would an elections administrator remove a clock from a room with legally required 24/7 surveillance?
Because that clock is the only way the public can verify the video feed hasn't been spliced.

The IRGC can definitely hit the UK with a missile that can hit Diego Garcia, the distance is the same, and if it hadn’t been for the efforts of the United States and Israel, all of Europe would have been under a permanent jihadi nuclear cloud, since just as they were lying about the missile range, they were lying about building the nukes to put on the end of those missiles: nukes to destroy London, Paris, and Madrid, and bring about the Armageddon they are religiously bound to crave.

No need to thank Israel and the United States for literally saving the world, but history will know what they did, and how the childish leaders of Europe stood on the sidelines and whined as the adults saved them from their own stupidity.
