I don’t see a world where someone this gifted and passionate about Hip-Hop would retire though. This doesn’t feel like the end for J. Cole to me.

I give him a few years before he comes back with a surprise album. And I’m sure he’ll drop singles and features from time to time after letting this album sit a bit.

This can’t be the end, I refuse to believe it.

I started Listening to J Cole 16 years ago. From the first time I heard his voice, I knew I would be a Cole fan for life. It was the lyricism first, then the flow. But over time, it became more than just the music. I started paying attention to who he was as a person, his views on fame, his respect for the art, and his refusal to bend even when the world kept pushing him in a different direction🙏🏾

His honesty with fans, his consistency, and his ability to stay authentic through every phase is rare. And the fact that he’s still willing to share these moments with us, especially through what he says will be his last album, means a lot.
