@captaincupkick Powell is a bad guy. A comically evil one.
BB led Daniel on, used him and wouldn’t stop until he got killed. It’s irritating watching her keep on putting Daniel at risk, when we know she’s a good person
You’re trying to turn this into a political statement when it really isn’t
@wickedmovieinfo @evermorebae None of this is real
The criticism isn’t about realism though, it’s about cinematography. In the video, the colors are pretty muted and feel plain. Also, Elphaba kinda blends in rather than being in profile.
@SW_Fan10000@DanielRPK ROS is a poorly directed film on any conventional filmmaking standard. Tension isn’t conveyed where it should be because he keeps the camera too far away during action sequences, every conversation feels unnatural, and the tone isn’t consistent.
@rfferffe@JAEG3RS His positions on civil rights don’t make him a fucking Nazi. Nazis support a government that kills people, not one that does less regarding race.
@rfferffe@JAEG3RS Or maybe not everyone right of center is a neonazi, especially someone who made their entire personality free and open debate. All you’re doing is normalizing Nazism in a time where that ideology is gaining popularity. Plus, there’s nothing about him that can be tied to Nazis.
@SilvaniKillian@Schaffrillas It wasn’t about Mexico. It was about the soul and rebirth. He didn’t need to do research because that wasn’t what the movie was about.
You should watch it again, but look deeper. Some movies require more than a surface level glance.
