One day I went to a gallery & saw this picture of a little boy. He lived in Edwardian Britain.
He looked sad. Lost. All of it.
I told myself I would one day write his story.
I am so honoured to be on this list with my novel:
The Manual for Good Wives!
A book about a Nigerian princess navigating Victorian England!

This July marks 40 years since Suzy Lamplugh’s disappearance. We remember her through her family and the legacy her parents left in creating the Trust.

Today, we remember the 52 innocent people whose lives were stolen in the 7 July terrorist attacks. We also remember those who were injured, their families and friends, and the heroic emergency service personnel who ran towards danger that day.
21 years on, we reflect on the resilience our city showed in the face of unimaginable tragedy. London remains strong, resilient and united. We must never allow hatred to win.
London will always stand together against those who seek to divide us or peddle extremism. We will always choose hope over fear, unity over division, and we will continue working together to build a safer, stronger London for everyone.
@ChrisCo49821424@6thairborne An honour to research and write about your courageous ancestor Sidney Cornell - the first black paratrooper to land in Normandy on D-Day. Hope you are doing well.
Sad to hear the news that actor Anthony Head has died at the age of 72. He was best known for his roles in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Ted Lasso. But for those of us of a certain vintage, he will always be the Gold Blend man.
I want to thank @NetflixSA and @stainedglasstv_ for taking my story from print to film. This is such a surreal moment for me!!
#ThePolygamist is my debut novel, the book that got rejected by many publishers. So I took a bet on myself and self published. The bet paid off!!

Don’t become numb.
What is happening across our world is not distant. It is human.
Lives are being lost. Communities are being disrupted. Families are being changed forever.
We must not lose our capacity to care.
