Friends in #bcm382. I found an interesting read. Especially some of the trends further down in the article as it relates it purpose driven campaigns, authenticity and inclusivity. All positive trends https://t.co/n8rl7MccAL
@CinderwoodFilms I did TikTok. It sounds fascinating and now I’m hooked! Sounds like there is a lot of untapped opportunity from a marketing perspective. I find Hootsuite to be a great resource for all things!
@matthew_yyc I mean it’s not a bad thing. I get my work done but I just feel like I want to learn more and there is such a wealth of information out there.
Anyone else getting overwhelmed by the wealth of information out there on all these channels and the opportunities within. I feel like it’s easy to go down a rabbit hole. I want to keep learning but there is so much. #bmc382
@DanaScully4ever I would love to hear more about how you used it in a brand campaign. It certainly has unique opportunities. I believe your brand is targeting a younger demo given other things you have shared. So I can see how’s it would be a great opportunity.
Excited@to see that Snapchat is in this weeks learnings. Any users/experts in the class? I’m not going to lie. I know very little about this one. #bmc382
@jcameron__ I believe I read something similar that Facebook had tried as well. With so many TikTok users it would be a challenge to shift users at this point. Instagram may have more success given they both speak to a younger demo.
@ddoollyypp I too have used it for many years but never considered it much as a channel for advertising. But that said it sounds like a Great opportunity for engagement. Early in the purchase journey to create inspiration.
@NSmith Very similar here except TikTok. We haven’t allowed it yet with all the chatter around security concerns with the app. Although I do admit the videos I come across in other channels are quite entertaining.
Quite surprised to learn that Facebook reaches the largest number of kids ages 13-17. My teens are all about “insta” and make sure I know that Facebook is not cool. And neither are emojis FYI. #bmc382
