Moving forward in God's grace, purpose, and will! I love to love, I make a habit of laughing a lot, and I am better than I once was and improving everyday.
Ron DeSantis, Florida's embarrassment-in-chief, is at it again. In his latest tweet, he's taking up the noble cause of fighting the sexualization of children, a sentiment no one in their right mind would disagree with. But it's hard to take him seriously when he has allowed Florida to become a hotspot for human trafficking.
His grandstanding is a desperate and transparent attempt to deflect from the mounting criticisms of his disastrous leadership. The man who's been dubbed 'human trafficker facilitator' by some critics, now wants us to believe he's a champion for children's innocence? The audacity is almost admirable.
Perhaps he's hoping to ride this moral high horse all the way to the White House. I hate to break it to you, Ron, but your reputation is in tatters and it's going to take more than a tweet to fix it. Maybe start by actually doing something about the human trafficking crisis happening under your watch.
But who am I kidding? This is just another hollow attempt at image rehabilitation. Ron DeSantis, the 'protector of innocence', can't fool us. His actions (or rather, inaction) speak louder than his hollow words. Nice try, Ron, but you're still a #HumanTraffickingFacilitator. #DeSantisDisaster #EmptyWords #RonTheWrongWay
@anastejiah@__kxll You wouldn’t have. Well.. let me take that back cuz we don’t trust the police. You have proof that she assaulted you and because it was body fluid it’s a felony!
.@joerogan since I heard you “like these guys” how about you send them this video. This is a message for #ProudBoys you want to pick a fight, I’m right here.
Black and POC students look up to, respect and trust their mentors, even more egregious is that for some of these students college stands as a balm, a respite, the promise to a better future, our students should be protected NOT harmed.
This grotesque impersonating has material consequences, such as fellowships, book contracts, a tenure-track job, and most egregious of all, access to Black and POC students.
.@NASAHubble turns 30 this year, and to celebrate, NASA launched a site where you can see a photo Hubble took on your birthday. 🎉

'One thing I hope people take away from this time is never to assume that everyone has friends and family they can count on in a crisis, no matter who they are.' -- Read this moving and very personal piece by @tanzinavega, host of @thetakeaway https://t.co/lfoQysJzoD
I hope #Democrats are looking at the OPTICS of what Trump is doing tonight. He is deplorable, but he absolutely knows marketing. Surprising a service member's family with their returned father/husband? Talk of economic "success"? Brilliant. Dems need to work hard to DEFEAT him.
