A piece of cricket history was missing for 142 years. Team India just wrote it.
For the first time ever, a women’s Test match was played at Lord’s, and Team India marked the occasion with a commanding 270-run victory over England.
Led by captain Harmanpreet Kaur, India became the first women’s team to win a Test match at the iconic 142-year-old cricket ground.
The match also witnessed unforgettable milestones: - Yastika Bhatia became the first woman to score a Test century at Lord’s.
- Kranti Goud became the first female cricketer to feature on the Lord’s Test Honours Board.
From fearless batting to a dominant bowling display, India’s women proved they belong among the very best on the biggest stage.
This is the kind of sporting moment that generations will look back on.🇮🇳

13th July is deeply chiseled in the heart of Kashmiri Hindus as Black Day. It was on this day, an infuriating brutality was inflicted upon Hindus because of their religion. No politics or grievance can ever justify the murder, persecution and oppression of innocent people.
Thailand has unearthed a 2,000-year-old gold ring bearing an ancient Brahmi inscription, offering fresh evidence of India's deep civilisational and maritime links with Southeast Asia.
The inscription, believed to read "pusarakhitasa" ("the one protected by Pushya"), has reignited interest in the spread of Indian culture, language and trade across the region.

Men’s Shot Put F57 World No. 1 Hokato Hotozhe Sema has once again made India proud.
But this victory is not just about sport—it’s about survival, sacrifice, and an unbreakable spirit.
From Nagaland, Hokato served the Indian Army with courage. During duty, a landmine blast took away one of his legs. For many, that would have been the end. For him, it became a turning point.
At 32, he started from scratch in para-athletics. No shortcuts, no excuses—just relentless hard work. He went on to win a bronze medal at the 2024 Paralympics, and now stands as World No. 1 in Men’s Shot Put F57.
He didn’t just return—he rose.
His journey proves one truth: strength is not in the body, but in the will to rise after being broken.
A soldier who once protected India at the border now carries the tricolour on the world podium.

Don’t know why one of the most beautiful traditions of Hinduism, Bhandaras, is rarely highlighted. Across the country, on normal days and especially during yatras, countless people are served free meals .Just look at the Bhandaras being organised for Amarnath Yatris by various organisations. Thousands of devotees are fed every day purely as an act of Seva.
When disasters strike, medicine heals. But compassion leaves the deepest mark.
Thousands of kilometres from home, Indian Army doctors are caring for earthquake survivors in Venezuela under Operation Amistad.
Among them was a 60-year-old woman who broke down after receiving treatment, saying she had never experienced such care in her life.
The mission has brought a fully operational field hospital, life-saving medicines, advanced medical equipment and India's BHISHM Cube portable hospitals to support rescue and relief efforts.
Sometimes, the greatest act of diplomacy isn't spoken. It's felt through kindness, one patient at a time.

She wasn't waiting for a better place to study. She simply made the most of the one she had.
A young girl was spotted studying by the roadside in Tambaram, Chennai, while her mother sold flowers nearby.
As darkness fell, she continued reading under the light of a small shop, determined not to let the night end her lessons.
The moment, captured by Santhosh, is a reminder that determination often shines brightest when resources are few.
