@Lolbunew Entering a larger existing grp is cz of some reason usually na....job, some membership, sports, hobby- so whatever selfish reason i have, the instinct is to suppress all my other aspects and make sure i vibe with them on the matter concerned. Like I wont discuss politics there
QOTD!
(IRL ofcourse) What makes you feel like you are part of a group? That you "belong"? What makes you feel "in group" ? What makes you feel thar you can get along?
( ans can be slightly diff for each of these sub qns. Also you can extend the qn in it's extreme to even 2 ppl)
On the contrary, any sub group with the same characterics means not in group to me. So in some sense this is a key differentiator for me.
Belong- more tougher question. Guess somewhat similar to in group but over much longer periods of time and being there in tougher times etc
My answers:
Get along-depends on congenial dynamics, atleast a few people with good sense of humor, who don't take themselves too seriously etc
For In group, need something within the group that others don't have. Could be anything, shared secrets/ common bitching etc(cont'd)

@Lolbunew In group is simple day to day stuff.
Being in group chats, random invites to events/hang outs, people checking in on you randomly.
Small stuff goes a long way.
Belong is a bit more and honestly need to think about more.
What about the woman who settled for a below-average looking, bald man and now has a child to take care of? With a face card like hers, she could've had a higher quality life. But people on the internet only seem to care about a man's happiness, not a woman's.
"Strategy" is a point in time thing. Structural advantages/ disadvantages are cumulative, built over time , can't be changed overnight
When you are using strategy, it implies taking these structural advantages/ disadvantages as a given and finding best/ least worst given that
From hot take to deeper take:
Figuring out optimal strategy, even one tailored to your own starting points/ circumstances ( in any context) is actually something many people actually do ok intuitively. What's more difficult and most can't is building "structural advantages

More generalised hot take of the day, when you observe something and decide to imitate or use that as a practical advise, you have to look at starting points and whether all else is equal. The optimal strategy in most things in life, markets etc is context dependent

This post combines some correct observations with poor conclusions and advise.< simping is a poor mating strategy> might be correct but relative to what? The average male is not a Chad and not Vijay devarakonda and the Chad does not need this advise Anyway
