Film footage of Shkupi "Skopje" in 1937
Albanians in national dress can be seen everywhere in the city.
Until 1912, Skopje was the capital of the Kosova🇽🇰🇦🇱 Vilayet.
-Today I want to remember the KLA heroes Bytyqi Brothers.
- The story of the Bytyqi brothers is a tale of bravery and sacrifice. In the tumultuous years of 1998-1999, when Kosovo was fighting for liberation, these three brothers left America to join the UCK and defend their homeland. Yll, Agron, and Mehmet Bytyqi were among the many soldiers who heeded the call to arms and traveled to Kosovo to fight for their country's freedom. Their story is one of courage and determination in the face of adversity.
- After the war ended, the Bytyqi brothers had decided to engage in humanitarian work, only to be detained in Serbia for unknowingly crossing the border into Serbia illegally immediately. Despite coming from America to fight in Kosovo, they were sentenced to 15 days in prison. However, after their release, they disappeared without a trace.
- Their bodies were later found in a mass grave in Petrovo Selo, Serbia. The brothers, with American citizenship, were brutally murdered by the Serbian authorities shortly after the Kosovo liberation. Their other brother Iliri describes the condition of his brothers' bodies: "The hands of the three brothers were tied with wire, their eyes covered with cloth, and each head had a bullet hole: they were executed on the spot."!
- They were found on a massive grave containing the bodies of 67 men and women from Kosovo.
- The criminals responsible for their deaths were never brought to justice.
- Their tragic fate serves as a reminder of the sacrifices made by those who fought for Kosovo's freedom, and the injustice that still lingers in the aftermath of war.
- The American embassy should exert pressure on Serbia to ensure that the criminals responsible for the crime against the Bytyqi brothers are brought to justice. It is the duty of every state to protect its citizens. 2. It is concerning that when it comes to Serbia's interests, ambassadors and the EU unite to pressure Kosovo on matters that do not involve them, even resorting to threats of non-membership in organizations and sanctions.

These heroes deserve justice.

James O’Brien regarding the purchase of Bayraktar drones by Kosovo 🇽🇰:
"Kosovo has the right to defend its territory without endangering its neighbors. In general, it is a step forward toward stability in the region, and for this, it will have the support of the USA 🇺🇸."
- The former President of the Assembly of Kosovo, Jakup Krasniqi, unjustly being judged in Hague, was prohibited from attending the next session wearing a tie designed with the red and black eagle.
- Why should the carrying of one's national flag be prohibited!!?? When did carrying the state symbol become a crime?
- @avucic at the UN was carrying the flag of Serbia on his shoulders, fully wrapped like a football fan even though he wasn't there to watch a football match but to confirm that Serbia had committed genocide in Srebrenica, Bosnia. Fortunately, this was proven, and no one stopped Aleksander Vucic from carrying that flag!
- Why should such pressures be imposed on Albanians?
- According to which dress code is wearing a red and black tie prohibited?
- It is unacceptable to try to accuse people of fictional crimes, and it is also inappropriate to try to diminish their dignity in every aspect. Serbian warcriminals who are still free, and yet no one is holding them accountable. It is a shame.
- It is terrible how great the racism against Albanians is in every aspect!!

@Aco_Sfens@sharenao You are completly forgetting the apartheid in the 90s, that's when Albanians were evicted of their properties and serb colonizers were put in their apartments.
We had a war just becouse of that...
- Today, in the early hours of the morning, the great Albanian author Ismail Kadare passed away at the age of 88. Besides being a world-renowned writer, he was also a colossal prose writer of Albanian literature.
- He may have passed away, but his works will never die. Condolences to the family for the master.
Farewell legend🇦🇱

- #Albania's team in @uefa2024 has made us all proud.
- Despite being in the challenging "group of death" with football stars, European and world champions, our players delivered an outstanding performance.
- Although they didn't qualify, we are still proud of their dignified representation. Facing #Spain, the reigning European and world champion, with a 1-0 result is a remarkable accomplishment.
- Bravo to our team! Let's carry this momentum forward in the years to come. 🇦🇱🇽🇰
