It’s her body and therefore she makes that decision, you killing her and her unborn child in an accident is obviously not done with any consent and is a freak accident that has ruined the lives of the people who loved her and were awaiting the babies arrival.

I’m guessing you’re male so you haven’t experienced this yourself but I have experienced pregnancy and would never wish it on someone who doesn’t want it, it can be horrific.

Probably the most vital part of this painting is the fact she’s clearly in mourning, either a husband or a family member and this guy pays no heed to her plight and instead attempts to flirt. Truly one of the foundational pieces of art that conveys sexism in action.
