Your Smart Farming Journey with John Deere Precision Ag Technology https://t.co/fbC7m6a9Zj via @YouTube
A good breakdown of what we are trying to achieve
@BarryGr66@agriprof@Plantmore1 Barry this is a family owned farm that has used their initiative to drive on looking for further efficiencies in their operation to get a better ROI, think about it, all nutrition gets back to the ground full width and harvesters never stop to unload with a 60 ft frontππ»ππ»ππ»ππ»
@S_M_Bowman Sounds like you need to check Auger bed dividers and concave because there is prob not enough material getting down on the swivel to load it a bit for you, best of luck great man ππ»ππ»
@S_M_Bowman I start with all of these simple checks when chasing loses. If I am still failing depending on crop I might look at changing concaves or elements depending on crop, for example planet Barley has big flag leaf which can be hard to deal with , what does the head look mate
@S_M_Bowman Hey @S_M_Bowman start back at mechanical basics of the machine before cutting grates, 1. Presentation of material to rotor so feeder house chains etc. 2. Concaves level. 3. Auger bed dividers are in the right position, 4. Adjustable pre cleaner set for cereals.
Got my 10 year cert today from @afgriau with this fine man. I have to say itβs been a pleasure

@LiddellClaying @Tomcurnow10 @Tedthekelpie@NDubuc My understanding is that there will be no accuracy changes between sf6000 and sf7000 with a radio on the back ππ»
@Tomcurnow10 @Tedthekelpie@NDubuc 7000 receivers will still work with RTK network Tom so we should be ok down here for a long time, the idea is to transition to a satellite based system further down the track with better tech. No talk of anything going obsolete just Deere setting up for Automation in the future.
