I think the difference in why Dorothy is getting celebrated and Dhanam is sidelined has a lot to do with the fact that Dorothy acted as a solution to Subbu's thoughts, while Dhanam gave Subbu her shoulder. Nonetheless, Dhanam needs to be celebrated too.
