Dear Muslims,
Japanese people donât dislike you for being Muslim. Your faith is your choice, and we respect those who live peacefully.
But calling pork or mirin (cooking alcohol) in Japanese food âdiscriminationâ makes no sense.
Our cuisine has centuries of history. It wasnât created to offend your faith. Different traditions arenât discrimination.
Youâre free to practice your religion, but if you visit or live in Japan, respect our culture, customs, and laws. Adapt to Japan rather than demand it change for you.
Please remember that.
Japanese politician says that Muslims shouldnât be buried in Japan.
âJapan is a cremation country. Allocating land for Muslim burials is not appropriate. If they want burial, it should be done in their home countries at their own expense.â
