I’ve just put together the introduction section of my Halo Infinite retrospective (yes this is something I’ve been working on for months secretly) and it’s brilliant. There’s a long way to go, but so far so good.
Feels so good to be actively working on a video again :)
I know it sounds crazy, but what if I said this actually looks good?
I’ll always prefer OG CE, but this looks like a fun reprisal. Plus, I’ve missed Jen Taylor as Cortana so much
Gonna try my absolute hardest to get my Halo Infinite retrospective out before this comes out!
To the Destiny 2 community,
Thank you.
As artists, our goal has always been to create worlds filled with wonder, mystery, beauty, and adventure. But what brings those worlds to life is you. You take our designs, our napkin sketches, our "wouldn't it be cool if..." ideas and transform them into something real. Your creativity, your passion, and your love for the game give our work purpose.
We've always believed Destiny could be a place where expression is celebrated, where players can see themselves and each other in the worlds we build, where every Guardian can forge their own legend—and you proved it.
Watching your Guardians grow, embrace new allies, take down bigger and badder bosses, solve mind-bending puzzles, dodge death traps, avoid Taken boopers, and overcome every Raid challenge we throw at you—all while looking incredible—has been a constant reminder of why this universe matters.
You shaped it. You made it matter. You are the light of Destiny.
With Monument of Triumph, we set out to create a series of love letters to Guardians, new and old. We shared a preview last week of armor inspired by early designs from the original Destiny but have also sprinkled some winks and nods throughout the rewards releasing tomorrow. We hope they feel like a small thank you for everything you’ve given us.
From all of us on the Destiny 2 art team, thank you for supporting us, inspiring us, and continuing to bring this world to life in ways we could never have imagined. You give our art meaning.
With gratitude,
The Destiny 2 Art Team
@ItsLazBoi I do this too, it’s why every project I make becomes nearly insurmountable in size. It’s part of the reason why I haven’t uploaded in over 2 years 😭
Crazy that this game is ACTUALLY coming out, I remember seeing that gameplay of the guy on the boat back in the day. Glad to see another game spearheaded by Patrice Désilets in the industry :)
We got Assassin's Creed Hexe before Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed Hexe.
The best news is that this game is being made by @PatriceDez, one of the original creators of the Assassin's Creed series.
This is going to be fantastic.
Build your Monument of Triumph.
Play new and updated content including Pantheon, Sparrow Racing League, Distortions, and new Triumph pursuits celebrating your Guardian’s journey across Destiny 2.
New challenges, abilities, and rewards arrive for all Guardians on June 9, 2026.

@dooroofoo55 I play on PC :) I honestly highly implore you to hop on June 9th, I know the wider Destiny community are grateful for anyone bolstering those player numbers. Anyone who ever once loved this franchise should hop on to see the final update.
I can’t lie I cheered when I saw The Traveller above the city again. The sky is lonely without it :,)
This update looks amazing. I bought all the outstanding expansions today, I’m going to play through all of them ahead of the update. It’s good to be back
@dooroofoo55 The base game content, plus the first 3 expansions are vaulted. In the game there is all the F2P stuff + 6 expansions. I was fortunate enough to play all of the vaulted content as it came out so it doesn’t affect me, but it does SUCK for new players who’ve never played Destiny.
The intro to FH6 is so SO good, this sequence in the yellow Porsche 911 with Enchanting Stranger by Milk Talk playing in the background was the moment I realised we’re so back, possibly more back than ever before.
Forza Horizon intros are something special man.
@CallMeSlatt1 I am certainly curious, but I think what we DON’T know about Faye is what makes her an interesting concept.
To be honest, I didn’t really like Ragnarok’s story that much, so I suppose I’m not really the target for the future of GoW.
Well this came out of left field. Not 100% convinced this is a story that needs to be told, but the gameplay looks great and the art direction goes hard as always.
‘GOD OF WAR: LAUFEY’ follows Faye as she fights through the afterlife of the gods - the Everywhen.
Everywhen is where ruthless gods from across mythology vie for power in a land overflowing with dangerous magic.
I’m so jealous of people who are able to enjoy extraction shooters, because I absolutely love everything about this game’s art direction. Music, sound design, environments, character designs. They’re all so good.
Darkness descends on Tau Ceti IV. Season 2 begins June 2.
Featuring a new map with Night Marsh, a new Runner shell Sentinel, the Cradle, new weapons, progression improvements, and more.
@Typo_master_ Destiny has stumbled a lot over the years, but it didn’t deserve to die as a franchise. Genuinely the best Looter Shooter franchise ever, I don’t think anything in the genre even comes remotely close.
I think people should be angry about Destiny reaching such a tragic end. This franchise didn’t deserve to go out this way. So many more stories to be told, characters to be resolved, and adventures to be had. If Destiny joins Sony’s graveyard of dormant IPs, it’ll be a waste.
@dooroofoo55 All things considered, it DID do some really cool things story wise. The Hive & the Books of Sorrow, SIVA, the Iron Lords, getting to meet an Ahamkara, the origins of Light & Dark, the story of The Witness. They did a pretty damn good job telling cool stories in the universe.
Like, imagine spending $3 billion on a studio, and refusing to greenlight their next huge project in a beloved franchise. I can’t believe we live in the timeline where Destiny doesn’t go out with a bang, but dies with a whimper.
