@RealGDT i went to see frankenstein again with a friend and she didn’t understand why see it in cinema when it’s gonna be on netflix in a few days. by the end she was moved to tears and said it reminded her of why she used to love the cinema… thank you so much for the magic 🥹
Can’t stop thinking about in BUGONIA Yorgos Lanthimos brilliantly and bleakly captures how being siloed in our beliefs and reaffirming them through echo chambers is the ultimate demise of humanity, many haunting scenes imprinted in my brain!! That Emma Stone monologue!!
BUGONIA: sorry to all other bald people but emma stone wins. why the hell are we not putting jesse plemons in EVERYTHING. another bonkers banger from yorgos & i loved everything about it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
BUGONIA lulls us into a false security with its calibrated dark humour before shifting to a genuinely dark tone with its acutely sad and heartfelt depiction of our contemporary societal malaise. Emma Stone and Jesse Plemons are yet again outstanding. Deceptively brilliant. #LFF
hi im back here. i will be using this account as my film account from now on so don’t expect much about six of crows here until the short stories come out 🧡
can’t believe oomf is getting crucified for saying that maybe shipping a woman with a guy who’s essentially her father is wrong arcanetwt is a joooooooke
@lightning_kf@Kyuu96_ i mentioned that bc it adds to it being weird that they’re fetishizing a ship involving a 19 year old and her dad while being in their mid 30s…
