“For me, the best contribution I can give to building an honest city hall and Fort Thomas for us all is stepping aside,” Long told WVXU. “I’m stepping aside because I want all the challengers to win.”

working to bring a healthier direction to our city!
Thank you again to everyone who believed in this campaign and in the vision of an honest City Hall and a Fort for us all.
With gratitude,
Brandon Long
After much prayer, reflection and conversation, I have decided to withdraw my candidacy for Fort Thomas City Council.
When I first announced my campaign, I said I was tired of the chaos at City Hall. I still am.
I love Fort Thomas:
I remain hopeful that this election can continue moving our city toward greater accountability, balanced leadership, fresh perspectives, and a City Hall that truly listens to residents and works for all of us. So, you will find me supporting the non-incumbent candidates...
Are you tired of the chaos at City Hall?
I am too.
I love Fort Thomas: our schools, parks, small businesses, and families. We deserve better.
I believe in honesty, transparency, fairness, and equality. That’s why I’ve decided to run for Fort Thomas City Council.
If elected, I promise three things:
• I will listen to you
• I will learn about every issue you raise
• I will take action
I believe in an honest City Hall and a Fort Thomas for all.
I’m Brandon Long, and I’m asking for your vote, and your support.
🚨 ANNOUNCEMENT: Choosing Unity Over Division
Today, I announce that I am NOT running again for State Representative.
Instead, I’m proud to introduce you to my friend Amy Amin, who is running for State Representative in HD 68.
https://t.co/B9OJufBct4
not politicians like Mike Clines who simply march to party commands.
As the federal government cuts vital funding and programs, it falls to our state legislature to step up and care for our neighbors. Amy Amin will do exactly that.
May we continue to choose compassion over fear, truth over cynicism, and faithful action over despair.
Peace on earth begins with us. Merry Christmas, and onward with hope.
Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and a hopeful New Year.
This year has been a roller coaster; marked by loss and struggle, but also by courage, community, and moments of real grace.
In the Christmas story, we’re reminded that God enters the world not through power or spectacle, but through vulnerability & love.
Looking to 2026, we do so with hope & heart: committed to the work of justice, the dignity of every person & the belief that better way is possible.
