Beyond the entrance to Realms of Discovery, the first true reveal is water: a vast civic landscape of monumental halls, gardens, sculpture and spectacle gathered around the Grand Basin.

NEW: Shanghai Disneyland announces a massive expansion, including a 4th Disney-themed hotel, and an expanded shopping, dining, and entertainment district.

The new hotel will be located immediately adjacent to Shanghai Disneyland’s entrance for easy park access.

As mentioned yesterday, this version of Epcot has been unearthed like a lost city—akin to Angkor Wat. Preservers have settled around the relic, giving rise to a new “community of tomorrow” rooted in the past.

@Bernswss I wanted to not visually obstruct views to either park from across the lake at the luxury resorts. The city train has a station between both parks. The lake provides boat access for lake side resorts to both parks. The monorail is designed to transport people on the edges.
