We had such a fun time with @forestscanada and our neighbouring CAs during the fall field tour! We took a tour around the Long Point Region watershed to visit various partnering tree planting sites and had some knowledge sharing discussions at each stop 🌲🍂

For this #halloweenhighlight we are looking at a pumpkin...no wait a spider... no wait a pumpkin spider?! This is the Marbled Orbweaver, aka the pumpkin spider. It gets its nickname from its pumpkin like abdomen! Isn't that neat! 🎃🕷

In honour of halloweek, it's time for a #halloweenhighlight ! The leaves you see belong to the endangered Pumpkin 🎃 Ash tree, with only 2 mature Pumpkin Ash known to be left in southwestern Ontario due to the invasive Emerald Ash Borer... now that's really frightening!
