Local Chinese business tycoon Yin Fai Chow has vowed to fund the resurrection of Sunday morning football in Longridge.

This evening AFC have announced they have folded as a club. The ability to attract the right Calibre of players, squad unrest and an appalling disciplinary record have all contributed to the clubs current situation

Kenyon and Jameson were tactically unriveled and had great man management skills putting together the best Longridge Sunday team of the 2000’s attracting some of the best players in the local area 🥳🎁

According to @Longridge_News manager Baitson is refusing to pay a fine for last weeks dismissal

The club committe are said to be furious with a spokesman commenting “we suggested a weekly direct debit to the FA with the amount he’s fined but he wasn’t interested”
