I joined Twitter in 2007. So long ago that most of us posting here did so by sending and receiving texts.
It’s been fun. But I’m gone.
I may post from the web now and then but this site has become a cesspit of fraudulent paid adverts and foul-mouthed fools. I’m deleting the app
@RhysSandz@theJeremyVine I should think you would find the libel claim very expensive. Especially considering you clearly do not understand the Highway Code.
Advanced Driver here. You’re wrong.
@Alltaylor1969@leeroyjones73 I ride a motorcycle and a bicycle. A motorcycle has no need to use an ASL since it can accelerate as easily as (and often better than) a car.
@neilorpen @ianthebuyer @0Calamity “Big corporations don’t decrease profits”?
Odd.
That’s exactly what happens.
I would cite some sources for this, but there are so many that it would be like citing a source for the colour of the sky on a Summer’s day.
@Walkabout24@tony_eh Ok. So you’ve frequently seen bad driving. We know bad driving happens. That’s why competent drivers ensure they can stop within the distance they can see to be clear on their own side of the road.
You’ll be amazed when you learn about parked cars.
@hugobergamoto@DanMartin86 Yet the National League is popular enough for DAZN to offer subs at £6 a month. I suspect more people watch the Tour and Paris-Roubaix than National League.
@Walkabout24@tony_eh No, a car suddenly stopping is dangerous. Cars only stop suddenly when the driver has failed to anticipate something. I would suggest you look again at the hazard perception part of the driving test.
I cannot remember when I last suddenly stopped while using the roads.
