I could imagine that they just don't bother to check for small prints.

If you get consistent results then the problem is not inherent to digital printers. I guess BW is extremely sensitive to incorrect WB and with color they don't even notice it.

My local lab has a really good printer but with BW the prints get a blue tint sometimes although it's true BW in the file. Any advice?

@LDN_Streets @paulasmithphoto @ILFORDPhoto They are a relic of their time. Same with vintage Polaroid cartridges. Why would you ever put the battery inside the cartridge?! Put it in the camera!
And I don't understand who's buying disposable cameras. Literally any cheap camera will take better photos then those.
