@whohitcup1d @StringerChasidy because that's how learning languages works. you adapt words from listening to natives speak and use it in your own vocab. if you have a problem with a nb person saying a word, tell them and if they refuse to not say it Then you have a right to be pissed

@whohitcup1d @StringerChasidy how can you be that blind to my point? 😭 all i'm saying is that foreigners learn english mostly from media so it's hard to distinguish between different dialects and unless a person refuses to stop speaking aave after you've corrected them, it shouldn't be a problem, you can't-

@whohitcup1d @StringerChasidy they speak/write and i don't always know 100% what those words mean or how they are used but i see how they use it and adapt it to my own vocabulary, sometimes they have said i'm using it wrong and correct me so i do. same goes with aave if i say something i shouldn't and-

@dayaswifi also that goes for all "dialects" and regions like our english is based on the stuff people on tv and twitter say most of the time so we could use british, american and australian words or sentence structures all over the place bc we've only maybe read it 🤨
