[Eng Trans] How Youngjae Deals with Anger
Youngjae: First of all, I'd say I'm someone who tends to get angry pretty easily. Honestly, I'm really hot-tempered and my body actually starts to feel hot too. So, if you ask me how I keep it under control when I start feeling that way, I try not to express it right away. Instead… how should I put this? I take a moment to think it over one more time. I ask myself, "Even after thinking about it again, is this really something worth getting angry about?" And then I also wonder, "Am I only angry because of how I'm feeling at this particular moment?"
In the past, I would just express my anger right away. But these days, I stop and think, "Wait, let me think about this again. Is this really something I should be angry about? Is it reasonable for me to get angry over this? Is it really okay for me to react this way?" Sometimes, while I'm thinking it through, the anger just fades away. But other times, I realize, "No, this really is something worth getting upset about." When that happens, I tend to choose to talk things out especially when there's some kind of conflict. Yes, that's basically how I handle it.
