They went opposite directions. Anthropic loosened its risk stance. OpenAI tightened.

Anthropic took the lead for the first time the next day and never looked back.

Cost is a crazy stat though.. more than 2x the cost. Once the experiment is done (2 more weeks) will release a full post-mortem including the journal logs, the experiment logs (shit that got broke), and what's next.
