A person called OwlKitty changed the Business Card scene from “American Psycho” to the guys showing each other pictures of their cats on their phones… and it could possibly be the greatest masterpiece ever 😂
I’ve decided to read “The Broadview Anthology of Expository Prose” by August 15th (and to post about it on Twitter to hold myself accountable). I bought it about 3 years ago for a writing class and I don’t think I’ve opened it since. It’s over 900 pages. Should be fun!

One thing that seems to get lost a lot in the discussion of risk taking and public health and airborne disease is the difference between "my body, my choice" and "your body, my choice."
Let me see if I have this straight:
Billionaires "deserve" all that passive income because they work hard
But people who work minimum wage jobs for 80 hours a week don't "deserve" a living wage because they aren't working hard enough
every time I think about what the winter will be like, I feel a bit ill. we're just stacking bodies on top of bodies, as if they'll make a wall tall enough to block out reality https://t.co/5g9IcZ0oro
