Here's a rundown on the energy crisis currently beginning to happen in @playgigaverse
LONG READ ALERT!!
(Using rough napkin math and extremely loose numbers that can, will, and do change at any moment)
Take this with a grain of salt especially with the game being so new and so many features coming in the near and far future.
--------------------
Underhaul - 360 energy/day
Dungetron 5000 - 480 energy/day
Fishing (20 casts/day):
Small cast (12) = 240 / day
Medium cast (16) = 320 / day
Big cast (20) = 400 / day
This does not take into account ;
Breaking Vases , 5 energy per vase :
2 Tan vases every 24 hours = 70 energy/week
4 blue vases once every 48 hours = ~70 energy/week
Crafting potions :
Lil Juice = 4 energy/attempt
Mid Juice = 6 energy/attempt
Big Juice = 8 energy/attempt
Or any future use-cases that we can assume are coming due to the overall ecosystem now housing more energy in total
(20% Boost on all ROMs across the Gigaverse means there's probably going to be at least a 20% increase in the energy needed to do things such as hatching eggs or keeping steeds alive)
---------------------------------
*No ROMs and no juice = 240 energy/day or 1,680 energy/week
*If you are simply juiced with 0 ROMs, you produce 420 energy/day or 2,940 energy/week
---------------------------------
-If you choose to do ALL runs in Dungetron, UH, and 20 BIG casts every day with NO juices being crafted or vases being broken, you will need to produce 1,240 energy/day or 8,680 energy/week.
-Add 140 energy/week for vases if you'd like.
---------------------------------
Bare minimum, in a perfect world with no juice crafts or vases (but juiced), you need an additional 5,740 energy per week to complete all dungeon runs and BIG casts.
*This means some serious ROM Memory (MB)
---------------------------------
There's a variety of ways you can achieve this through combining different ROMs, especially with the new update and "linking" (soft staking) mechanic, but for simplicity and laziness let's use the current floor price of a silver ROM (0.1431 $eth) and assume you'll only get 8MB but will be juiced.
Silver 8MB ROMs with the new update produce 84 energy/week. The math here is pretty straight forward. You would need ~68 Silver 8MB ROMs to complete your weekly task's remaining energy. ~9.8 eth (this number is very overly exaggerated due to the ability to boost ROMs with the new update launched today and realistically with 9 eth you could be producing MUCH more energy than this if you bought and linked strategically.)
This also does not take into account the ability to sell any items in-game or the resources from those roms themselves (68 silver roms would produce 68 shards and 408 dust per week or ~$225/week with greatly fluctuating prices that you could gamify by watching the market)
Realistically you wouldn't buy 68 Floor ROMs as this would be extremely inefficient and expensive compared to higher tiered ROMs, not to mention the supply and spike in floor price would not be able to keep up with this napkin math model.
---------------------------------
This is where you will have to start to pick and choose what you decide to do with your daily runs and what you think may benefit you in the long term on your path through the Gigaverse. Dith is very intelligent and already has/will design the game in a way to reward all players of any skill level at any point in their journey, ESPECIALLY those who have long term vision and plan to play the game consistently. This has been proven time and time again, from "free" to play players who do the bare minimum with no roms (slow progression at first, gaining speed the further you get and longer you play), getting drops in dungeons, and feeling good seeing the progress you've made. To OG users like myself who have a ton of items from playing every day the last 8 months, in the form of abstract stubs and the in-game marketplace with its thriving economy. I have no doubt that the skill levels you have will translate to the open world, so don't write any progress you make in the game as "not worth it."
I know it may seem overwhelming but that's where you should also sit back and enjoy the game and it's progress as well as your own. Watch the Gigaverse unfold before your very eyes beyond just "rock paper scissors re-skinned." If you have been following me at all for the last 8 months you'll notice a pattern of me generally being right on my speculations and theses surrounding the game and the team. Earn some abs XP and join the ranks of some of the smartest web3 developers, leaders, marketers, team members, not to mention the insanely cracked community. There's so much to gain here.
With the new update you need to be juiced to get the most out of your Gigaverse experience, that much is apparent (can only get abs XP if you are juiced among so many other reasons)
***However there are quite some interesting strategies and potential paths to take depending on what ROMs you currently own or plan to obtain in the future. With a supply of only 10,000 ROMs, many being held by some OG gaming whales who share my same sentiment and won't sell anytime soon (150 Gigus ROMs total with 6 Listed and a 3.00 $eth FP), I'm sure you see the energy crisis that's already been created. This is BEFORE the eggs hatch, and BEFORE the OPEN WORLD even exists in the game. Let's not forget ROM LEE still has to sweep the project within the next month or so. There's flywheels within flywheels, Giga 'verses within Gigus' Gigaverse.
I'll continue to repeat myself, "One simply cannot be bullish enough on @0xDith"
This game will look completely different in the coming months and I don't think most are ready or fully see the vision.
CHOBO GANG IS THE BEST FACTION I LOVE YOU

New to Abstract?
1.) Bridging : I personally use @RelayProtocol to bridge across chains easily. Using @MetaMask I can swap eth from main net to abstract eth, and from there send it to my AGW
2.) Swapping : Swap for coins on abstract network directly from your Abstract Global Wallet (AGW) Here you can buy meme coins like $abster $polly even more degen plays like $gooner $eureka $god
3.) Games : Using the "Discover" tab you can easily browse through many apps, there's paid games and even some free to play! Most games are still growing and offer great opportunities to be early to something amazing being built on "the consumer chain"
4.) XP : There's a ton of ways to earn XP, which will carry significant rewards down the road. My favorite way is by buying and holding NFT's. Most of the top collections will give you some form of base XP each week. Make sure to grab as many badges as you can. There's a ton of amazing people who post tutorials.
(It's rumored that games in the "spotlight" portion of the discover tab might have a slightly boosted XP allocation for that time)
5.) Your X : You have an opportunity to connect and grow with some amazing people from any ecosystem. You can build yourself up as a "brand". Sort of a place that people feel comfortable receiving information from, that they know who it's coming from. This can be a bit of work but the results are what helps build you up and have a voice in the world of CT. Start by following the main accounts and then look in the comments of their posts and look who they retweet and follow those people and create a twitter feed that's your vibe and an algorithm of people who resonate with you, will uplift you, and, well to put it blunt, will "consume" your content.
6.) Communities : This is one of the biggest ones imo. it ties everything on this list together. There are some incredible people both on the teams and navigating throughout this ecosystem as consumers. I always recommend trying to find an NFT project community through Discord that you vibe with as there's so much you can gain out of being active in a group of like-minded individuals. You never know what path it may lead you down and you never know who you might meet or become yourself. Watch some streamers and get their input on things. Join the Abstract Discord and see what everyone is about. Most importantly vibe be a chad and have fun! GLHF
Here are some amazing NFT communities/games off the top of my head : @playgigaverse@onchainheroes@vibes_tcg@RoachRacingClub@MoodyMights@PromotionRoyale@bearish_af@finalbosuX@FugzOfficial@DreamilioMaker@playduper@visitsugartown@RuyuiStudios@CannaSapiensX and many more.
7.) Here's your reminder to stretch and drink water, I love you all.
