@JumboShrimp787@Cernovich DOJ should bring a RICO case against not only all the big tech and media companies for conspiring to suppress speech based on ideology.
@MohammedAlo@sarasteinmd Based on your assertions, T2DM is more of a condition that manifests in a state of energy toxicity and poor metabolic management. I'd be fine with that if it was presented that way rather than some permanent life sentence.
@MohammedAlo@sarasteinmd I don't disagree that if I gained 100 pounds, I'd likely get it again. So would anyone who is predisposed whether or not they previously reached that point. But I won't. Why is that a contentious idea to you?
@MohammedAlo@sarasteinmd I agree that only a certain subset of people are genetically capable of T2DM but most never reach that threshold because. By your logic, if you're predisposed, you already have it at birth and are just in remission, you just haven't gained enough weight yet
@sarasteinmd@MohammedAlo Of course. This would apply from birth for almost anyone. Eat bad enough, long enough and that's the end result. The only exception is those who can endlessly expand fat stores.
As someone who lost over 100 pounds on zero carb, and has maintained for 8 years, I can say that calories matter and are the ultimate say so. What's often discounted about cutting carbs is that it raises calorie burn and is naturally satiating and makes it possible to eat in a deficit without much hunger. It also sets up the ideal hormonal state, especially for anyone who is metabolically deranged. Tom has weak will power and will flip and flop and fail like he always has, regardless of diet.
