@mnolangray The problem with relying on parking enforcement is simply a lot people go from home garage to a private lot (work/retail) and then back home again. Heck even Illegal parking in handicap spots barely get ticketed, esp in the burbs.
@hoomon26@mnolangray Concord, CA is fully built out, thriving suburban city with 2 major regional rail stops. (BART). This land is an old navy base bordered by water, hills and the existing city. Hills are not zoned for homes so this is a great spot for a dense new development
@LA_Multi_Fam I lived just north of the 101 in EP 15 years ago and a local realtor was trying to brand the area as “Baja Silverlake” for some dumb reason.
For those 2 properties Westlake yes but more specifically Historic Filipinotown these days.
New Rule:
The City of LA should allow all registered LA voters living in the city of LA to take a photo of the parking violation and plate and email it to a special city email address.
If the offender pays, the Angeleno gets half of the fine and the city gets the other half that can only be used for Streetlight and Sidewalk repairs.
maybe @cd14losangeles can make this happen
@octal A big roadblock is concessionaires get the contracts for the large airports and the restaurants are staffed by the concessionaires’ employees. Usually why quality/service can be so bad sometimes. I’m sure a special exception for In-N-Out could be made at renewal time.
