Data scientist w/ @TrellaHealth. If you can't get a good answer, try asking a better question. Fascinated by good #data#policy. Enthralled w/ good #design.
Thanks @fmstatic for spending 246 minutes with me in 2022. I couldn’t stop listening to Lost In You. You had me 11 years ago at the snare. #SpotifyWrapped https://t.co/X1jT0qRdux
#Hospice utilization is now over 50% of the number of ALL #Medicare patients who died, were patients admitted to Hospice, for the first time since we started reporting the metric in 2017. Download our Quarterly Industry Trend Report to read more! https://t.co/9tu2kh6tVQ

On understanding the American #PostAcute#Health care market. Good luck finding a report this comprehensive/current that describes what happens after discharge from the hospital and how it's changing. https://t.co/Qtr4aGmWMt
AI deceptively acting like a human will become a widespread problem in many domains. We need ground rules. One proposal: "Turing Red Flag law" — bots should be designed so that it's clear they're bots; they should also identify themselves as bots up front. https://t.co/bHxE3WnVmh https://t.co/k2ZOMp02mH
@DrSimpsonHSR@Women_Of_Impact Wow; brilliantly written. We all find peace with it in different ways. Thank you for sharing and blazing such a hopeful trail for others, by example!
@policyprimate I have attended #hdpalooza for last 4 years and this is the first w/out the kiddos. I hired a nanny to come with us and take them to see the city while I attended. Providing childcare not a bad idea, though!
@DrLeanaWen telling a data-centric audiece that data has to tell a story, in a framework RELEVANT to decision-makers in order to succeed at changing behaviors to get better outcomes. "The data alone will never be enough." #HDpalooza
@MightyCasey If there's anything I've learned about "big data" in the last 5+ years, it's that you can do a lot with imperfect datasets. I'd rather get it dirty and see what we can learn ... then we can talk about to get more accurate.
"If you don’t show me data I won’t believe you, if you don’t tell me a story I won’t care.” Borrowed from @aaronecarroll and maybe Tom Dashle (?).
@Tidepool_org patient/physn story so compelling. Always fun to see real data getting used to make someone's life better. #HDPalooza
