Absolutely loved the drama in these clouds as the sunset transitioned to an amazing afterglow. The purple darkness fought to take over lighter colors, but it was a beautiful struggle to capture the angry sky.

Vegas Vickie, a Vegas icon, was the 'kicking cowgirl', a popular landmark in downtown Vegas since 1980. She was purchased in 2016 and brought to Circa Resort & Casino, becoming part of the famous Fremont Street Experience.

I was mesmerized by the Fall beauty of these mixed, wild grasses as they swayed gently in the wind from a soft breeze rhythmically moving them in one direction, yet the grasses flowed and fluttered as if to dance across this serene meadow.

Visited a huge arboretum in New Jersey, and roamed around the gardens, drinking in nature's beauty. This butterfly is called a Great Spangled Fritillary, which looks a little like the Monarch butterfly but has more intricate patterns on its wings.

While exploring near the Mississippi Sound in Biloxi, I came upon this Great Egret. It just popped against the golden marsh, with its white plumes doubling in its reflection. This Great Egret stood quietly, surrounded by a field of tall grasses.

This is a painterly representation on canvas of the Broadwater Beach Marina Lighthouse, an historical landmark in Biloxi, Mississippi. At the base, murals were painted to symbolize Biloxi’s resilience following their 2005 Hurricane Katrina devastation.

The Coquina rock formations are only found in a few specific areas of NE Florida. I captured a low angle of these rare coquina rocks just off the Atlantic Ocean coastline on a bright, sunny day.

Keeping my distance one day so as not to scare him off, I spotted a rare Tricolored Heron walking gracefully through the shallow water near this grassy shore in Florida. He was surrounded by floating lily-type pads.

Concentric circles radiate from the center were created with vibrant hues of yellow, purple, orange & green. The pattern provides a mesmerizing spiral effect, drawing the eye inward. But this piece tricks the mind's eye too. Is that going in or out?

These bright white & vibrant fuchsia chrysanthemums were so cheerful & beautifully arranged, that I had to capture them. Their vibrancy created a very striking contrast with the soft petals & muted shadows.
