People trying to logically refute the possibility of Capitano returning as if there literally wasn't the whole plot of separating a human soul from a god's and bringing him out of the Ley Lines in Varka's story quest, lmao?
Could this year’s Nahida’s birthday letter possibly be foreshadowing New Khaenri’ah? 👀
“I've been thinking about a ‘tiny kingdom’,” Thank you Nahida, it’s been on my mind too for years and years…
“I found some rather special seeds. They dream of flowers and curling vines.” They dream? You know, Dainsleif once said: In the hidden corners where the gods’ gaze does not fall, there are those who dream of dreaming…
Also, a seed is an especially fitting metaphor for a civilisation whose future has not yet come to fruition, right? It contains the potential for something that doesn’t exist in its final form yet...
“Once, it was held in the embrace of a dream that burned much too brightly.” We know Khaenri’ah was a human civilisation that sought to transcend the world’s fundamental principles. We know that its ambitions and pursuit of power existed in opposition to the divine order. “But in the end, that fire broke apart into specks of starlight and drifted softly down. The earth gathered them close, and their warmth became a blanket for new shoots waiting to sprout.”
Now after the destruction, the scattered remnants are gathered, preserved, and repurposed to nurture something new: Abyss Order, “new Khaenri'ah was enriched with memories of the old, drawn from the Abyss Order's members in their meditation sessions. With those memories as raw materials, and the superimposed realm as a template, the Loom of Fate finally finished its work.” - Sibling.
“We, a people in exile, stranded five hundred years in the future, will weave our homeland anew, and bring the nation of our dreams back into the real world.” - Haden.
“The garden is already prepared. The location has already been chosen.” Now THIS is the true foreshadowing; The Abyss sibling has already created the Atlas and is looking for a suitable host location 👀
“Even the smallest lives need a little patch of sky that belongs to them, somewhere they can slowly unfurl at their own pace.” THINK ABOUT IT, Khaenri'ah was an underground nation. Its people were separated from the ordinary life of the surface world… Nahida’s words would be a beautiful way to express the desire for a civilisation to have a place where it can exist on its own terms. And not just survival, SPACE TO FLOURISH. Sibling’s ambition is for the nation to rise again, with its own Ley Lines, and even eventually to speak to the HP as an equal! Something that belongs to THEM.
“And when you press the very first seed into the soil, maybe you'll hear it whisper: ‘Wish me a happy birthday today. And after that… let's grow up together.’” The seed asks to be wished a happy birthday right away, BEFORE it talks about growing up together, meaning it’s beginning is acknowledged first, and its future comes afterwards. Perfectly fitting metaphor for the RE-birth of a civilisation built from the remains and memories of an old one…
Last but not least, Khaenri’ah chapter is coming soon, and Genshin is no stranger to subtly foreshadowing upcoming events.
THE DREAM YET TO BE DREAMED. A dream that was destroyed, and remnants that survived it, and a new world in which that dream can finally grow…

the whole point of fanfic is to play “what if” with the characters. so if a fic writer makes your fave horrible and you don’t like it, *go read a different fic.* that author is engaging in a thought experiment that isn’t for you. someone else will write them the way you like it.
