@igor_chubin I tried the GET request with just the "Host: https://t.co/d2qfWvV5vX" added and omitted the user-agent but still get Error 301. and my "GET /providence,ri?format=3 HTTP/1.1" request by itself with nothing else results in Error 400 (Bad Request)

@igor_chubin hi, I wrote a retro-computer program that used HTTP to grab the weather. however, the serial-TCP bridge it uses does not support HTTPS and so it no longer works. is there a way to still make requests via HTTP only? https://t.co/d2qfWvV5vX is a great tool. thank you

@igor_chubin I should also add that the initial string I send in the HTTP request is HTTP/1.1. perhaps I need to use a newer version for the identifier?

@igor_chubin this is the string I use in my code: "User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 5.1)". I get an error 301 "Moved Permanently" and the location it refers me to is the https URL. do I need to use a different user agent? thank you for replying so quickly!

@igor_chubin if you would like a use case to give them to replicate, do a JSON request for "Boston, MA". pressure in inches (inHg) should always be presented as xx.xx decimal number. thanks alot for all you do with wttr!!

@igor_chubin I noticed in the JSON output mode, "pressureInches" looks to be rounded to a whole integer which is a problem because typical values can range from 29.80 to 30.20 which makes that value a bit useless lol

@igor_chubin the metric units are fine because they are whole integers already. inHg uses 2 decimal precision for some weird Imperial reason :) I didn't realize that value was straight from the data provider. I wouldn't know how to report it to them though

@igor_chubin yes! thats perfect! thank you! im trying to write a client for my retro 8bit computer hobby and those old displays are only 80x25. so I was using the ?format parameter initially to scrape the raw data
