@benmurraybruce You have said it all Sir, few weeks ago, I discovered we are all suffering in Nigeria, the poor, the rich and the very wealthy, even Dangote. Suffering has levels, but when it comes to you at your level, you feel it. 30% loss could mean suicide for some, and a dying economy can
It’s sad to see how we beat up someone who probably out of hunger stole chicken, but we celebrate and make excuses for the big thieves stealing The whole country. We are sick people
@AdaAfikpo@Oludeewon You said it exactly as it is, some Nigerians wants to use you and most times we can’t say anything because you don’t want to look insensitive. I am very selective of the people I let into my circle these days, we have to share the same values and interests.
@OneJoblessBoy Students do those jobs because they can’t take full time jobs because of visa restrictions. After graduation, most move to other jobs, and most move eventually after their settlement. Most people do care for sponsorship.
@OneJoblessBoy What would they have done in Nigeria? Most of the so called carers, some have become home owners in 4yrs. I know some may argue it’s mortgage, but that’s an investment that they can pull equity from. Don’t allow this UK resident to fool you o, ask reasonable questions please
@odogwu_ogidi@Febsbaby_ If anyone has a problem, they should channel the energy to their government or they do some community contribution to fund people in their region. Alex and Tunde are private citizens who are doing good with their personal time and funds. Go and talk to your big man
@dev_maims I built an AI receptionist https://t.co/LPzU88JSRd, it hasn’t been too bad business wise for a new business. AI has really been helpful for research, market research and it’s helped so much with SEO as I can’t afford Semrush at this early stage.
@asemota There exists another problem; men tend to settle down once they succeed and most will go for younger ladies. A man in his 30s who has now made it goes to a lady in her 20s. If women succeed from 30, that’s already a problem because many successful men at that age are married
@MediaSOI Please let’s all respect the police, these guys do a very hard a tough job to keep our communities safe. It’s such a dangerous job they do. God bless our officers
And this is to new Generation dads in the UK 🇬🇧💪🏿🫡
I really love how you all are refusing to be deadbeat dads. We’re doing way more than most of our fathers did growing up.
Today in Sheffield City Center, I saw about 10 different guys carrying their babies alone in baby carriers and honestly, I almost took pictures 😂 From babysitting, making baby meals, bathing the kids, school runs, park trips, to being fully present physically, spiritually, financially, emotionally… men are showing up differently now💪🏿
I love that we’re not relaxing with some of the unhealthy things many of us grew up seeing.
Proud of the men, proud of us, and proud of the love we’re giving our kids ❤️
@renoomokri You don’t earn min wage and go to live in Ikoyi, do you? There are places outskirts of London you can still manage, won’t be great but you will survive. Or you go far away from London. Electricity is about £70/month, unlimited internet is £24/month, food is affordable.
@renoomokri Please disregard, I have never spent more than £20 to barb although I don’t live in London. I have friends that live in London, they don’t spend more than £25 to barb. It depends on the salon. About cost of living, the minimum wage per hr is £12.71 (N23,500).
@BBCAfrica We all have our languages Africans, this whole English debate is nonsense. Even in England, there’re different accents. Let’s promote our languages please
@drkenon2 It's true we are very wicked people, but there is also enforcement issues. Who do we report Oga to and what happens when Oga is reported would help fix the system in a way. There is no fear of anything.
