We just lost another legend today 😔
Bayside High has lost its principal. 💔
Dennis Haskins, beloved by generations as Principal Richard Belding on Saved by the Bell, has died at 75.
For millions who grew up watching Zack Morris and the Bayside gang, Haskins was much more than the adult trying to keep everyone out of trouble. His booming “Hey, hey, hey, what is going on here?” became one of the sitcom’s most recognizable catchphrases, and he carried Mr. Belding across multiple chapters of the franchise, from Good Morning, Miss Bliss through Saved by the Bell and The New Class.
Haskins spent decades being remembered as the principal everyone wished their school had.
The bell may have rung for the final time, but Mr. Belding will always be part of Bayside. Rest in peace, Dennis Haskins. 🕊️
