@sanderson1611 I'll take "things that clueless, obnoxious people on the internet who know literally nothing about Orthodox or Catholic theology say" for $500, Alex.
@Trent_Horn@JayDyer This is grossly unbecoming of you, man. I understand you and Jay don't get along, but this just comes off as petty. Repent of this spitefulness and do better.
@matthewdmarsden The Eastern Orthodox Church, it's pre-denominational. Orthodoxy has the sacraments, it has 2000 years of theology and teaching in Councils and Patristic witness. It existed before the "Catholic" Church, it is the original Church founded by Jesus Christ, and it has the Eucharist.
@redeemed_zoomer If your priority is "triggering Orthobros" you're blatantly admitting to intentionally causing division and strife between believers. Instead of trying to "trigger" the Orthodox, try having an actual conversation or a debate with one. This just reeks of pettiness and insecurity.
@AngloVarangian Father Josiah's work through Patristic Nectar is what played the largest role in getting me to really look into Orthodoxy, where before I had never even heard of it. A year later, I'm a Catechumen in the Church and have never been happier to go to Church.
@jaydyer I really like a lot of things about gentlemen like Wes and Gavin Ortlund, but man is it disappointing to see that they *never* actually even try to engage with Orthodox apologists. I genuinely think they're too scared to do it.
@jtimsuggs The show's ratings were abysmal and it lost Disney/LucasFilm a metric fu**ton of money. The fact alone that the viewership ratings were so low proves that the people who *liked* this travesty of a series are the minority, and you're just injecting copium directly into your veins.
