$AEVA vs Other L1s at Launch

$AEVA is giving me a feeling I haven’t had in years. It reminds me of early ethereum:0x88df592f8eb5d7bd38bfef7deb0fbc02cf3778a0.

Back in 2019/2020, Tellor was still tiny.

Small community.
Low DEX liquidity.
A real protocol being built before most of the market was paying attention.

Tellor even published an article called “The Delusion of Liquidity”, arguing that small projects shouldn’t try to manufacture liquidity with market makers and paid listings, but should focus on building something useful and let liquidity grow organically with adoption.

$TRB launched without an ICO and without a premine, while Tellor focused on the protocol, the miners and the community.

Years later, $TRB reached roughly $1.5 BILLION in market cap at its peak, with the token trading around $603.

I’m not saying $AEVA will be the next $TRB.

But the early feeling is strangely familiar.

Tiny valuation.
Technical team shipping before the hype.
A working network.
A community discovering the project organically.
And now, mainnet.

Sometimes the most interesting projects don’t begin with valuations in the hundreds of millions.

Sometimes they begin almost unnoticed.

I checked the contract before putting this on my radar — this is the official Aeva token confirmed by @AevaChain.

What caught my attention isn't just the chart.

Aeva is launching an asset-native Layer 1 where ownership, financial rights, settlement and related primitives are built directly into the protocol.

$AEVA is the native asset used for network fees, validator security and governance.

I've watched it move hard from the sub-$1M area toward the $1M+ range, so now I'm watching how the market handles the attention.

No blind entry.

Just watching the structure, liquidity, holders and execution.

With Aeva mainnet launching tomorrow, the $AEVA buyback-and-burn program will become active.

Under the mechanism, 1% of aggregate $AEVA trading volume will be directed toward recurring open-market purchases, with the acquired tokens subsequently and permanently removed from circulation.

At $1 million in daily trading volume, this would represent $10,000 in daily buybacks and burns.
All activity will be executed onchain, providing a transparent and independently verifiable record of each purchase and burn.

Aeva Mainnet Beta: pre-genesis allocation

100,000,000 $AEVA have been committed to the pre-genesis lock contract on Robinhood Chain:

Validator reward pool: 60,000,000
Staking incentives pool: 20,000,000
Genesis validator stake: 20,000,000

The contract has no withdrawal function and no administrative control over locked balances. Locked tokens can only migrate into the bridge collateral contract, not before 27 December 2026.

Emissions from both reward pools are set to zero at genesis and can only be activated through on-chain governance.

A quick note for everyone watching $AEVA today.
Weekends are often some of the thinnest-liquidity periods in crypto. When volume is lower, relatively small sells — or a few loud accounts spreading fear — can create moves that look much bigger than they actually are.
We are also seeing misleading claims and confusion around fake AEVA tokens, wallet warnings and the official contract.
